Induction stories please

First time mum. Due to be induced on Monday after 3 episodes of reduced movements. I will be 40 weeks on Monday and having daily ctgs until induction to reassure me and know baby is ok. I never had a 'birth plan' but midwife said I'd be stuck on labour ward and once in not allowed out until baby is born. Just hate the idea of been stuck to a bed with monitors and probably epidural as I've heard induction is intense. Stories please??

Mines was due to stagnant growth. Was able to walk the hospital grounds and around labour ward for a bit. Was checked often. Kinda boring so hope you have reading material/TV.

No news yet not even a niggle. Been able to wonder as much as wanted which is nice and they've given me a birthing ball. So far a positive experience! I was expecting pessary in and boom intense pain but not at all. Fingers crossed we get some progress!

How you getting on OP?

I was induced, drip at 1pm, took it off me as I had no let up in contractions at about 2pm and he was born at 4.20pm.

Got examined yesterday at 4 and was over 3cm but was over contracting after first pessary so not allowed anything else. Things have slowed down now so I'm on the list waiting to go to labour ward for my waters breaking been here since Monday at 11..

You will be glad it's over and to have baby safe I'm your arms. Keeping all crossed for you. How you feeling?

Still waiting for a bed on labour ward to have waters broken... lost my plug, had mild pains but that's it. No progress here!! Day 4...
