Swollen perineum at only 22 weeks?

Not the most pleasant or glamorous of threads but it's bothering me!

22 weeks, second pregnancy. They'll be 2.4 years apart so not particularly close, fully healed from first labour as far as I can tell/feel. Did get a second degree tear but it healed quickly and I've had no issues since.

My perineum is pretty swollen. It pretty much feels like my vagina is bulging out but from a quick mirror inspection it's actually just swollen. Doesn't appear to be varicose veins as nothing is purple, all looks normal other than swollen. Worse when I've been on my feet all day (which I have the last few weeks a lot) I'm assuming due to pressure from baby/gravity. No pain just awareness of 'the bulge'.

I'll mention it at my next midwife appointment but that's 6 weeks away so wondered if anyone had similar at this stage? I didn't have it at all first time round and would have thought it normal towards the end but 22 weeks seems early!
