Not sure if this is something to worry about, I'm constantly getting the shivers, accompanied by goosebumps and a weird feeling in my stomach, like indigestion or acid. I'm about 5 weeks I think. First midwife appointment next Wednesday

I had this in my third pregnancy. I bled a little bit throughout that pregnancy and think I may have had an infection, though I'm not sure if they were connected.
I would try and rest as much as possible.

I was freezing at the beginning of each pregnancy.

Thanks, it seems to just be mostly during the day, I get really hot at night. I've got my first midwife appointment next week, I'll mention it to her

Yes i have been like this throughout - freezing cold during the day, hot at night.

Thank you, I've been worried it's something bad. So anxious to get to the first scan and see that everything is ok, that's probably another 6 or 7 weeks away yet though

I was the same too. Often felt chilly and then sometimes hot. I was in Sri Lanka for weeks 5-8 and I was even cold there sometimes!

Thank you

I was like this on my third pregnancy up until about 15 weeks, constantly cold and shivery.
Hadnt experienced on my previous pregnancies.

GP checked bloods in case there was a problem with thyroid as this can sometimes be a symptom, thankfully all was fine and I eventually warmed up!

I do have an under active thryroid, maybe that's something to do with it, I'll probably need my medication dose adjusting, I'll speak to the midwife about it. Thanks
