LOW PAPPA & HC BELOW 3RD PERCENTILE

We recently had our 20 week scan and was told all was ok, waited outside for the notes and was then told the Head circumference was a bit small so had to wait to go and see the consultant. All other measurements were ok and on the 50th percentile except the HC which is just below 3rd.

I was told after my screening results i had a low PAPPA result and so extra growth scans were already booked in for me at 28 weeks every 3 weeks as it is was predicted i would have a small baby but my concern is the correlation of the measurements,

they have told me not to worry and wait for the next scan but it is easier said than done.

anyone else experienced something similar?

Sorry I can't speak to pappa or HC but our baby has a small AC measurement compared to all else. We have regular growth scans and baby is growing along it's own curve - just with a smaller body. Nobody seems concerned. The major organs are all there. Baby is doing well. Very active etc. Doctors think it's just the way baby is built. The growth scans can be very reassuring as they really help you to get a sense of the growth pattern for your baby. Good luck with them! Fingers crossed it's all OK.
