Hi when did you all start buying for baby? Like clothes and stuff? I'm 27 weeks and have most the clothes up to 6 months... can't hurt to be prepared right? Don't know when to get the cot and stuff tho?

I started getting few clothing bits bit will buy bigger stuff later. As I been told few family members want to give money towards things. However I've researched what ones I want to buy xx

I'm 15 weeks with baby 4 and have to start again as we sold everything from our last baby thinking she was our last.
I've bought a couple of cute blankets and a baby grow which I used to show the kids i was pregnant but I haven't bought anything big yet. I have a list of things I'm planning on getting but will get those from around 30 weeks onwards. Mainly because we don't have storage space for large items atm

Same as @kgeal3 except we found out the sex today so bought a few clothing items, but won't buy big items till 34 weeks x

Brought the pram (2nd hand) at 20 weeks, but only brought a few small bits of clothing before the 38 week point tbh, and most of it second hand. Got the car seat at 39 weeks, and the cot (which I’ve only just started using at 5months).

Google the baby university for a charity/Lidl baby box with some products, I used that in place of a Moses basket.

Congratulations

You don’t need nearly as much as you think. Cot with associated things, muslins, nappies, cotton wool, pushchair, car seat, bottle stuff if you’re going that way, baby bath. People bought me loads of clothes when my babies were born and frankly they lived in onesies most of the time so could have saved yourself there.

@HJWT are you telling the sex? Or keeping it to yourself? How exciting, I'm so tempted to find out but I know we both would wish we hadn't. Hope you're doing well x
