I am six weeks pregnant today & this morning I had some v light pinkish spotting when I wiped. Nothing since then. My booking in appointment isn't until mid-May. What should I do? This is my second pregnancy & i didn't spot at all during last one. 😢

Some early pregnancy units you can self refer to, so it may be worth giving your local one a call. If not, phone your GP and get and appointment with them. They will be able to refer you to the epu

I had early spotting and called my EPU who were happy to see me & give me a scan. I’m not sure how much would be visible in a 6 weeks scan though

I work on an emergency gynae unit and we would tell you to pop a pad on and monitor the bleeding. If it increases substantially and there's clots and/or severe abdo pain then you usually come in. If not it's just monitoring as bleeding in early pregnancy can be super common and doesn't automatically mean something is wrong. It's really worrying though and it's annoying watching and waiting when all you want is for something definite. Some places will offer reassurance scans but theres usually a wait. I hope everything is Okay OP

Sorry I mean it's worrying for you and completely understandable. I've been a nervous wreck in my pregnancy myself despite knowing how it works behind the scenes!

@Prequelle thanks, I'll do that. I've been to the loo about ten times since it happened & there's been nothing more. Such a worrying time, but there's nothing I can do if it's not meant to be.
