Indigestion - how bad is it?!

Hello!

I'm currently 26+4 with my first child and have noticed I've started to get horrifically bad stomach pains (mainly in the night), I'm thinking it's indigestion but I've never had it before.

Is indigestion really that bad that it can bring me to tears? I've been glugging gaviscon from the bottle and I'm not too convinced it's helping much, so I guess I'm just needing a little bit of reassurance... first baby anxieties are high!

I'm not sure that sounds like indigestion... might be worth checking with your doctor... especially if you're taking that much Gaviscon and it's not working.

I get what I believe is indigestion (I'm not 100% sure myself!) and it just feels like I have wind and something sitting high in my throat, if I was to burp I would be a little sick. Mine is usually in the evenings after eating and started in my third trimester.
