Just wondering cos I need our parents to get to us to look after DS and its at least 2 hours drive. 1st labour was about 12 hours.

ist labour was 8 hours from first twinge to ds being born, and 2nd was about 3 hours from 1st to last - I nearly didn't get to hospital in time.

but then again my 3rd and 4th labours were longer.

First ~ DS ~ 3.5hrs ~ 3 days late.
Second ~ DD ~ 20minutes!! She was 10 day late though.

OK so now I'm getting worried- seems that there are a lot of labours that have been quicker than the 2 hours (at least) I need to get the parents here. Wonder what the hospital will say if I have to take ds with us?

Did anyone use Raspberry Leaf Capsules before labour? I did before ds1 (labour 12 hours but contractions strong from very first one & would have been much faster labour if not for baby's position) so am not sure whether to use them this time - strong contractions from the start again might make everything too quick!

Any advice?

With DS, my waters broke at about 9am (I was watching This Morning - how inconvenient!), i went into hospital at about 6pm, seriously strong contractions from about 10pm, baby born 5 1/2 hours later.

I am hoping it will be quicker with Number 2!
