Currently 31 weeks and have so far managed to avoid any stretch marks.

Before I get too cocky confident in my skins elasticity, when did your stretch marks kick in?

Right at the end with dd1 40+ weeks Walked downstairs in pants and a nightie and my partner at the time said what's happened to your stomach!

They are from my waistline down and cover the whole area. But I got them in my teens on my hips and boobs so I guess I'm predisposed to them. My mum doesnt have any!

Mine came at about 35 weeks and I was very quickly covered. Tbh they’re not the main problem. I’d happily live with marked skin if it was flat and normal. What you should be worrying about is whether the stretched skin will go back or whether you’ll be left with an awful wrinkly loose tummy that hangs like an apron.

Right at the end for me too!

Hi,
Can any one recommend something to help stretch marks, I’m 30 weeks, and I haven’t got many on my belly, but am I expecting them to appear as I go through my next through weeks, but I recently noticed yesterday I’ve got quite a few on the back of my knees, it really upset me and that’s the last place I expected to find stretch marks, has this happened to anyone else? And what can help?

I got stretch marks at puberty around my thighs and boobs so I was convinced I'd be in bits from my bump, my mum also has terrible stretch marks.

But I RELIGIOUSLY applied cocoa butter twice a day for both pregnancies and didn't get one! I'm convinced it kept them at bay, and my bump for baby no. 1 was enormous Grin
