So I'm now 37 weeks pregnant with DC no 2, so I could potentially go into labour any day now.
However I'm not holding my breath as my DD was born 10 days after her due date and I needed to be induced. Although, during that pregnancy the signs of labour were non existent, didn't have so much as a twinge! Wondering if it might be different this time with it being my second and I'v spent much more time on my feet this pregnancy than I did in my last.
Not sure if these are potential signs of imminent labour but I certainly feel much different this time around than I did at this stage in my last pregnancy.
I've found I've suddenly started sleeping really well. Whereas in my last pregnancy and in previous weeks with this pregnancy I've found it near impossible to sleep.
I've a sudden surge of energy and I've been cleaning and organising like a mad woman.
I've had the odd mild cramp here and there. Plus I think baby might have 'dropped' because towards the end of the day I start feeling as though I'm walking around with a watermelon between my legs.
And sorry if this is tmi but I am all of a sudden no longer constipated
Could these all be signs that labour might be round the corner? Maybe this is wishful thinking, because next week my consultant is scheduling an induction date for me between 39 and 40 weeks so I know at least I won't be going past my due date. But I did want to avoid an mother induction if possible, so if I go into labour naturally say next week, that would be great!
What signs were there in the days leading up to your labours?
