Braxton Hicks - what did it feel like?

Hi, I'm 31+4 and this afternoon have had some cramps and backache.

Could this be Braxton Hicks? All the descriptions I've found have been a bit vague in terms of descriptions so was after some real life experiences?

Thanks x

Mine was kind of like goosebumps spreading over my bump and it went hard as a bowling ball. As I got closer to due date they got a bit more sore and i'd have to stop what I was doing. Very similar to early labour in the end.

Bump would go very hard, basically it contracts for about a minute then goes back to normal.
Real labour the contractions become regular. Braxton hicks it's just random, or as I got further along, I could bring them on if I strained too much or physically exerted myself somehow.

Yes...the bump goes hard, but I didn’t feel any pain. Used to get them after an orgasm 🤭

@ryanreynolds I do have it hours at a time some times so that can be normal too. They say sometimes dehydration can make it worse lovely, so make sure your drinking loads of water.

Robin2323 · 09/04/2019 20:38

I had mine on and off for 2 days.

Then I was in
labour 😳

ryanreynolds · 09/04/2019 21:05
