Is anyone else past their due date? I was due April 4th and for some reason many people had been telling me they thought I would be early and seemingly convinced me too! I had a sweep on a Friday and nothing since! I'm really struggling with the long days, lack of sleep
And energy and endless calls and text from impatient relatives and friends! Anyone else with me? Having another sweep tomorrow- praying that it works xx

It's blimming frustrating isn't it.. I do wish they give a due period rather than a date. Its all too easy to fixate on one date then get really bummed out when it comes and goes with nothing happening.
Rest assured most babies arrive a week either side of edd so hopefully you won't be waiting long but as someone who has been to 42+w twice it doesn't apply to every woman.
Plan some nice things, reflexology, pedicure, massage, tea and scones, cake and coffee, meals out etc etc all stuff that is trickier once baby arrives.
Good luck, the last few weeks can drag but believe me it can all kick off so quickly. This time last week I was 41 weeks abd GRUMPY... now I'm sat feeding my 4 day old ❤️

Oh and I cut off from social media in precious pregnancies and stopped responding to any messages other than from a few close friends who weren't badgering me. Worth considering if people are really bothering you.

I’m the same! Was due on the 6th and even though I know you are likely to go over. Everyone kept saying how much it has dropped and how I’ll definitely be early and you do start to believe it! I saw my midwife this morning and I’m still not engaged so can’t have a sweep. I’ve booked a reflexology session tomorrow, So hoping that starts it off!

Also finding it really annoying everyone saying, he’ll come when he’s ready and enjoy the sleep while you can. I’ve not slept for more than 2 hours at a time for weeks. I would love to sleep! Hopefully it won’t be long for either of us! X
