I'm 15 weeks and 1 day but have extreme anxiety still after a mmc last year in September. Any advice/support on how you coped after this? I only had a private scan last Thursday but the reassurance only lasts about a day! X

No advice other than try to distract yourself until around 20 weeks, you'll start feeling your baby move and that gives a lot more reassurance, however, I don't think the worry ever really stops!

Lynzw I think we have crossed paths before ! I’m 15 weeks 2 days & had a mmc in July last year. I totally understand how your feeling. I had an early 9 week scan & 3 weeks ago routine 12 week. The anxiety stays at bay for a couple days before it feasts on the next appointment or thing to worry about! Mine is directed at my 16 week appointment booked for next week where you hear the heartbeat! I’ve been wondering whether to do a post actually, don’t know if you feel the same but I’m feeling slightly detached from the pregnancy at the moment like I’m still holding back incase I get bad news like last time. I also don’t feel very pregnant at the moment as no bump yet so all different emotions going on ! I totally get it💐 hopefully 20 week scans will arrive quickly!! Anxiety is just shit Xxx

Thanks @Fuppy and yes @Babycakes1989 I feel like I just can't allow myself to be happy or excited. I look at the calendar and wonder when I might go on mat leave and then this horrible voice comes in my head like "your getting ahead of yourself" and then start thinking bad thoughts. I went for a scan last Thursday as I was so worried and all is still well the sonographer even saw all 4 heat chambers developed but 5 days later I'm still worrying. I have my 16 week midwife app next week too on weds xx
