Hi there 😀 decided to make this to chat to other Mums due this month.

I'm due on the 21st (Easter Sunday!) but I can't help shifting the feeling he'll be here earlier.

Anyone had false labours yet? I get bad for about 3 hours then it fades away - it's happened to me twice now! Getting fed up with the pain, discomfort and annoyed with my PGP (SPD) and Raynaud's so just want this kid now 😆

Very excited though, despite the nerves for labour. Just seeing how other Mums-to-be are handling things since we're so close to the end 😊

Hey😀! I'm due on the 24th with baby #3 (well they think - had my first scan at 15 weeks because of a mess up, and they said it isn't as accurate at this point)! My dates say 15th but baby will appear when he wants I suppose lol!

I too am suffering a bit with spd - but I have chronic hip and sacro-illiac joint pain too, so that's been difficult.

I have had false labour 😯! Didn't have this with my others, but they say its more common the more you have so maybe it's becaue this is my third!

I'm nervous and excited for labour - both previous labours were 1hr 30 mins start to finish, and I'm hoping I have another one like that but at the same time know how intense that is so am nervous 😂!

I feel huge, I feel tired, and I can wait to meet this little guy!! My oldest is 5 and he cannot wait for his little brother to make an appearance! He is so excited and is on a countdown 😂! My youngest is 3 next month and couldn't care less 😂! Either way I'm excited to meet this new addition!

onedream · 02/04/2019 08:10

Hello Smile
I'm due on 14th this month but was over with my first little boy so not expecting this one to come any time soon however it would be a nice surprise if he does lol
My first little boy is 3 and this will be his little brother who he is very exited to meet..
Feeling uncomfortable most of the time and sleeping badly just trying to think positive..the end is near Smile

desertmama1 · 02/04/2019 10:42

I'm due on the 13th! Excited but of course a bit nervous, too... I feel large, uncomfortable and tired! Can't wait to meet the little guy and give a brother to my 20 month old.

desertmama1 · 02/04/2019 10:43

Also, still haven't decided on a name Confused have decided we will choose once we see him!

starrrgazer · 02/04/2019 14:19

I'm due on the 7th and I am convinced I will go very late (maybe preparing myself to be disappointed when the due date goes flying past!). Have been having Braxton Hicks nightly but it always calms down again. Otherwise, losing my mucous plug in tiny stages although that doesn't mean much!!

I slept well for the first time in weeks last night though so things could be worse!

So excited!

VixenAndCub · 02/04/2019 15:36

This is my first so I have no idea what I'm looking out for really, since the signs they tell you about aren't very reliable!

Haven't seen any kind of plug yet, but the frequent pains and feeling him wiggle so low down (feels awful!) Is making me assume things are going to plan. Midwives are happy at least.

Concerning names; I'm going for Noah James for this little one. Quite a popular name but it's the only name my BF and I both loved since the beginning.
Would have been Riley Jane if he was a girl

As for signs labour was on its way, I had none the first time - no plug, no waters breaking, just started with back pain and contractions.
It's so different for everyone - there isn't really a one rule that fits all.

burritofan · 02/04/2019 17:07

I'm due on the 11th with my first: planning a home birth but mentally psyching myself up for an induction at two weeks overdue so I don't get disappointed/frustrated at n o t h i n g happening.

I live at the top of a v steep hill and at least 3 people thought I was going into labour when I walked home from the shop this morning and stopped to help me!

No discharge or show or plug yet, despite checking my knickers more thoroughly than when TTC. Just good old urinary incontinence. Movements painful af, why does this baby have so many elbows? Napping twice a day now. Crazy dreams – actually woke DP up last night screaming in my sleep. Eating vindaloo like it's going out of fashion. Come ON, I'm so done!

desertmama1 · 02/04/2019 17:18

I feel soooo done tonight.... every time I stand up I need a wee 🤦‍♀️ also very tired. 8pm where I am and I'm already in bed!!!

Mummab3ar · 02/04/2019 17:37

desertmama1 I hear you 🙌! I wish I was in bed 😭😂! My youngest is being clingy at the moment and everytime he goes to bed he likes a good cuddle from me at the moment - I keep falling asleep next to him 😶! My hubby has to come wake me up!

Blgb · 02/04/2019 17:49

Hey everyone I'm due 14th April too and getting very impatient now! Hoping he comes early.
There is also another chat full of people due this month called
First babies due in April - thread 2!
You don't realise how many there are!
Good luck everyone

Ccec · 02/04/2019 18:11

Due on the 17th here! With no.2, but I've had an 11 year gap so feel like I'm experiencing the pregnancy part all again for the first time lol. My first was early so I was hoping I'd follow the same pattern but I've just about passed the point where I had him so I might be wrong and go late this time ☺
It's so exciting nearing the end but terrifying at the same time! 😂

Tootyfrooty35 · 02/04/2019 19:25

Was due March 28th but knew I'd have, and wanted too, an April baby 😍

This is my third, have dd4 and ds2.5 so I'm absolutely exhausted now at 40+4 😂

Can't wait to meet my, not so (measuring over the 9 5th centile lol) little April bundle 😁
Had a fair few symptoms but been to 42+ weeks twice before so never one to get excited about anything too early!

Buttons28 · 02/04/2019 20:19

Hey! 🙂
I'm due 21st April with my first. Not sure what we are having yet but have got names ready for both options 👍

No real symptoms to report just Braxton Hicks in the evenings.

Trying not to get too focused on my due date and trying to relax and baby will arrive when good and ready... lets see how long I can keep that mindset haha!

Unicorn234 · 02/04/2019 20:57

Hey guys 🙋‍♀️ just thought I'd jump on this thread as I was meant to be due 16th April, however my little man decided he wanted to come early.. on the 16th March!
I'm looking forward to seeing you all have your babies as I've been on a different thread with some of you right from the beginning! 😊

Wordie · 03/04/2019 09:21

Hey 👋 I’ll jump on too, I’m due on the 6th. I keep having signs I’m in labour then they quickly stop. It’s so frustrating!

Hope you’re all doing ok, not too long to go! X

cannonball8726 · 03/04/2019 13:17

Hey all! I'm due 9th April and been having mucusy brown discharge over past 3 days which I guess is my mucus plug. Getting period pains and back pain and keep thinking I'm going to go into labour! Such a weird feeling.

Anyone else having similar symptoms?

FinallyGotAnIPhone · 03/04/2019 13:26

I am due on 22 April and having lots of braxton hicks. Lasted for hours last night. So annoying they didn’t turn into full blown labour :-(

littlehelp · 03/04/2019 13:59

Afternoon ladies

Due 22nd which happens to be my 4th cherub Grin

Hoping for early baby as he is feeling huge Blush
Keep having tightening in my belly but head not engaged but with it being my 4th I think that can happen in labour

SPD has been awful literally can’t walk after sitting need crutches

How hard are the last few weeks I think for me it’s just being impatient lol x

Wordie · 04/04/2019 15:26

Anyone else feel like turning up at the hospital and begging them to take it out?

2 more days till due date and praying I don’t go too far over!!!

Tootyfrooty35 · 04/04/2019 16:34

@wordie I've definitely had days like that and it saiys something soming from me because I went to 42+1 last time and I was determined I'd labour spontaneously. . It was very tough going though and I'm not going that far this time... Meeting my baby tomorrow in all likelihood 😍
Is this your first?

Hang in there mamas, we'll have babies in our arms very soon ❤️

ChaosMoon · 04/04/2019 16:55

Hi ladies!
I'm also due in the 7th ( we're due date buddies @starrrgazer!) but I'm focusing on the fact that it'll be here by the 21st, one way or another. It'll be my first.

I've spent most of this pregnancy saying I want a natural birth @Wordie but I still felt like that when the false labour pains went away on Tuesday!

I was getting false labour pains every 10 mins all Monday and into Tuesday morning, but nothing happened.

It's anyone else feeling the baby really low. Apologies if it's tmi but I constantly feel like I need to do a no 2! I hope this means it's at least trying to engage!

I'm also getting the period type pain and back pain @cannonball8726.

cannonball8726 · 04/04/2019 17:00

Yep @chaosmoon - baby feels super low. Also keep feeling like I need to open my bowels. And walking is so uncomfortable! The period pain and back pain are not fun at all - had no idea you could have this for days! My hot water bottle is my best friend at the moment...

desertmama1 · 04/04/2019 17:37

No news from me yet, feeling a bit more comfortable.... would love the baby to come this weekend, but have a feeling I'll be waiting till my due date like my first born!
Do second babies normally come sooner than the first?!?

burritofan · 04/04/2019 17:41

I asked my boyfriend last night if he would just pop a hand up there and drag the baby out. He refused, THE RAT BASTARD.

Today I feel rough and grim and thoroughly unpleasant; tired and restless and nauseous at once and just, ugh. Crossing days off the calendar like a death row prisoner.
