What pregnancy vitamins do you ladies take (and why?) and how are you all coping with superfood diets when the thought of broccoli makes you turn green??? (Hoping it’s not just me!!) 🤮

I take pregnancycare liquid because I’m rubbish with tablets. Don’t worry too much about being healthy at the start. Your baby does take all the good stuff and leaves you without so make sure you try eating well again when you can but your baby is not suffering.

I took Boots version of Pregnacare because I completely went off veg, especially green veg (and I normally eat loads of veg!). I found later in pregnancy that I could eat the sort of veg you do for fajitas or my mother in law's veg lasagne but am hoping I get back to normal after the birth!!! I think veg was easier if it was flavoured and part of the meal rather than just a pile of steamed broccoli for example. I also tried to up my fruit intake as that tasted less awful than the veg!

I take Pregnacare, probably only because I took the conception version and it agreed with me.

I haven't changed my diet drastically, I would usually get 5-7 fruit/veg a day. I found fruit great during first trimester because I didn't find it had a strong smell.

I'm 20 weeks now and my main focus is fibre because my digestion has slowed right down, trying to get at least 25 grams a day (tracked on myfitnesspal) and if I still have issues I have a glass of prune juice before bed Envy
