Hi. I have been diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. The doc has prescribed be the above (vaginal applicator) but when I went to pick up the prescription, the pharmacist said that it shouldn’t be used in the first trimester. I called the doc and he insisted it was fine.
I had a miscarriage 3 months ago so really don’t want to take anything to increase the risk of it happening again, but then again I don’t want to leave the BV untreated as that can cause issues too.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or had BV in their first trimester?
