Short/ tldr version - 24 normal bleeding at 4 weeks. What's your experience?
I am in the early stages of a planned pregnancy and currently 4 weeks and 3 days. We have been planning this and very excited that our first time properly trying to conceive (using ovulation apps and tests etc) that I fell pregnant.
Had several positives that were darker and darker the later I took them. Been feeling sick, having indigestion and bloating.
Last Saturday I had a very lazy day with my partner and we had sex a few times. That evening I had work and my trousers were really tight and uncomfortable. When I got home there was very faint pink on the loo roll. And the next morning I woke up to bad cramps and started bleeding hand haven't stopped for over 24 hours.
I've been to out of hours drs who made me take a pregnancy test which was positive. He told me to have a blood test at my drs the next day which I've just had done where they will check my hcg levels. He told me that its either a miscarriage or threatens miscarriage.
But that's it. Noone has said anything else and although I've confided in my friend and partner. Noone has experienced this and I feel alone.
I am tired of reading things that make my pregnancy not feel real just because its early. And I'm really struggling to process this. The bleeding is normal period amount and had the odd tiny stringy clot type thing but nothing really.
Cramping seems to have stopped today but I feel bruised all over my stomach and feel like I've been punched.
I still feel really sick like I have been
Just wanted to hear other peoples experience? If it was a miscarriage how long did this last?
Did anyone bleed red blood for over 24 hours and everything ended okay?
Did anyone else feel totally abandoned and feel like professional support wasn't offered/there?
