So as per other thread, I had early scan at 6wks 5 days. Sonographer said there was a strong heartbeat. I've just looked at the report and it says the heart rate was 104bpm and I look online and it seems this is not good at all. Beside myself now.

I remember obsessing over something similar early in my pregnancy and my babies where fine

Heart beat of a 6-7 week foetus is 90-110bpm so I don't see what's wrong with it?

If the sonographer said there was a good strong heartbeat then don't scare yourself silly by reading online. Trust the professionals who would tell you if they had concerns. CongratulationsThanks

That sounds about right - ours was 90bpm at a similar time and that was absolutely fine. It will go up a lot over the next few weeks and then settle down.

Heart rate changes as pregnancy progresses. That sounds about right to me too for early first trimester.

Fetal heart rate

At 6+6 my twins measured heart rates of 117 and 126. I was a bit worried but then saw that, at that stage, they expect 90-110bpm so that reassured me. Waiting on my 12 weeks scan at the most!!
