Large lump in breast in third trimester

Hi, what could a large lump in one breast be? It appeared suddenly two weeks before delivery and is still there 10 days after birth. It’s not sore or tender. There are no other symptoms.
Breast feeding is working fine but not being done exclusively.
My lovely friend who has had breast cancer a few years ago had a lumpectomy in one breast. No milk has come in to that breast so the only one being used is the one that has a lump. She is extremely worried as you can imagine. But I think it’s a coincidence that the one breast using for feeding has developed a lump so I am hoping there might be another answer. She can’t see her consultant until Thursday.
