I hope this is ok to post.

I have been thinking about Fluffy, as I'm sure have many others

Does anyone know if she is ok?

I just had the same thought! Did the thread get zapped? Can't see it but maybe it wasn't in Pregnancy?

Papergirl1968 · 02/03/2019 21:03

It's in childbirth, and is still there but not accepting new comments.
I've wondered too.

TrixieFranklin · 02/03/2019 21:05

Also been thinking about this. HQ IIRC said that the site is more for adults than 14year olds but they wanted to keep the thread up so she could read all the comments and advice but no new comments could be added.

Any tips about having a baby please. I am young and scared. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/childbirth/3518701-Any-tips-about-having-a-baby-please-I-am-young-and-scared

I'd love an update on how she is getting on, it must be so difficult!!!

olderthanyouthink · 02/03/2019 21:23

Too*

BayandBlonde · 02/03/2019 21:25

Ah, I couldn't remember where she posted.

It's a shame they turned off commenting as she can't update us.

MNHQ do you have any update?

Was it confirmed that she was 14 in the end then? I didn't think she ever said how old she was?

TrixieFranklin · 02/03/2019 21:49

Yeah she said she was 14 mid thread.

I've also been wondering how she is. Fluffy, if you read this, i hope you've managed to talk to your friends mum and your mum.

Babyno2mamabear · 02/03/2019 22:43

@dreamzcancometrue why do you think that it IS a fake story? A colleague and friend of mine went to hospital for severe back pain and gave birth to a 7lb7 baby girl. She was working with me in a nursery the day before, and was an adult, 23. Showed no "bump"...her husband didn't even know. I know it's crazy to think "how can you not know" or "how can you hide it", but in some situations you can. Honestly none of us knew, and neither did she. I'm sure everyone here wants the best for the young lady who is going through a really scary time, that's why people care. X

Papergirl1968 · 02/03/2019 22:54

I didn't see Dreamz comment but I guess she didn't buy into Fluffy being genuine.
Don't shoot me down in flames for this but I had a few doubts, I must admit. Not about her being able to conceal the pregnancy, but because she sounded unusually eloquent for a teenager, and because she said she'd had a sweep after going to the medical centre. It made me question if they'd do that right then and there, without knowing for sure if she was overdue, and without a parent there.
But I choose to believe non balance she was genuine. And I hope that she's been able to tell her mum. And that her mum is supporting her.

Babyno2mamabear · 02/03/2019 23:27

@Papergirl1968, I do know what you mean. She did sound very eloquent, but I like to think that when I was 14 I was pretty good at written/spoken language (probably better than I am now!). What put the doubt in my mind was the medical care too, that said if she told them she only had sex once at the start of June then perhaps they just acted on that until they had a scan. Nevertheless, hopefully the post helps someone and that Fluffy and baby are ok! X

snoopy18 · 02/03/2019 23:54

Oh wow hope she’s ok

Angelmiracle · 03/03/2019 00:35

Also been wondering about her and the little one how scary for her.
