I’m sure this has been asked before but I did a quick search and didn’t turn anything up.

What can I do to feel better and get rid of a cold?

Paracetamol. Hot water, lemon and honey. Sleep.

I feel you. As well as above I've used Vicks to get me to breathe at night so I can sleep.
My face is so sore so nice started using a cold compress on my sinuses.

Was in the same place a few weeks ago.... Lemon with honey mixed in hot water ... Breathe in the vapors and drink xxx

Water
Honey and lemon
Recommended dose of paracetamol
Black (decafè) tea to help with sore throat/coughing
Rest!

What really really helped me was a shower with lots of steam and a mint shower gel. Obviously not as good as sudofed but it did clear my head m I asked my pharmacy if vicks was safe so I used that at night too, and paracetamol for my sinus headaches. Hot water with lemon eased my throat but I don't lie, it was miserable! Just get through it as best you can with lots of fluids and rest

Saline nasal spray and steam inhalation works for a while. Not as good as proper decongestants but the best I could find.

For a chesty cough, use fresh thyme leaves, steep in boiling water then drink the liquid when it's lukewarm. It tastes disgusting but it does work. Also second saline nasal spray or a netipot, Olbas oil is also good for helping to clear sinuses

Oh thanks for all of this! Will try them all! Ha! Anything to shift this horrible feeling in my head. Oh how I miss Lemsip.
