Morning sickness sadness!

Hello,
I am 12 weeks pregnant and have suffered from sickness for the entire pregnancy so far. It's not just limited to the mornings, it can be anytime during the day and it's starting to get me down. As soon as I have a good day and think it's easing up, it's terrible the next way.
I've bought sickness bands and if I see another ginger biscuit I'll throw myself out the nearest window. I didn't realize doctors could provide tablets until v recently so wonder if it's worth it now as I've heard they take a while to kick in and I'm hoping it might stop soon?
Anyway, I guess this is more of a moan. But if anyone has any tips of what could help, or reassurance that it will stop, I'd really appreciate it!

Not much advise but I feel your pain! Nausea is just awful. I eat as soon as I wake up, that has meant eating at 5am after needing to pee and not getting back to sleep quick enough because the nausea takes hold. Just a big meal almost immediately. Agree on the ginger anything, just make me sick now the smell Confusedx

Go to the gp and explain, they'll be able to prescribe something to help you. My sickness lasted to almost 6 months last time so you might have longer than 12 weeks before you feel better. Eat plain food and get plenty of rest!

I suffered until 20 weeks - I went to the GP for tablets and they were fantastic! I was still sick but it reduced the feeling of nausea and I was only sick once or twice a day rather than 5/6 times.

GP did say they don't work for everyone but definitely worth a try.
With the ginger thing, seven seas pregnancy supplements contain ginger so maybe try them too?

Ok I'll definitely go to my GP, the thought of having this for another couple of months is terrible! Thank you for the advice, and it's nice to know I'm not alone (although obviously feel sorry for anyone else feeling 🤮 all the time!)

I've been taking anti-sickness pills since day one. Where I live they are sold over the counter. I've still had to take time off work because of the awful nausea but I haven't been sick once and, when I stop taking them, I really notice a difference.

I know exactly how you're feeling and have been in tears some days Flowers

I have been very ill with pregnancy sickness since Xmas. It really is miserable. I'm now 15 weeks and it's eased a bit but still suffering. I foresee myself feeling like this for a little while yet.
I strongly advise you go to the GP and if the initial medication they give doesn't work, go back because there are others they can try.

Good luck, I totally sympathise.

In the same boat! I've had nausea since about 6 weeks but it was 10/11 weeks where it really ramped up and now at 13+4 I'm throwing up 2/3 times a day. It's miserable. I'm trying my best to not let it interfere with life too much as my job is high-pressured and we're about to go into the busiest month of the year, but the fact that I will without fail throw up immediately after getting out of bed in the morning is starting to wear thin.

Also if I have another person tell me it'll pass soon or to try ginger biscuits I'll boot them into the sun.
