Hello, has anyone else struggled with their immune system during their first trimester?

I'm 10+2 weeks now and I've had a cold for nearly the whole of February. Last weekend I thought I was getting better then this weekend just gone it hit me full blast again!

I visited the doctor at the beginning of February because it was still early stages and my first pregnancy so my mind was going crazy with worry over how a cold could hurt the baby but she reassured me there was nothing to worry about.

My only problem is that I really really don't want to take any medicine while pregnant so I've been trying to get better on hot honey, orange juice and fruit (mainly apples).

Has anyone else had this problem and does the immune system get stronger going into the second trimester?

Any tips for relieving without medicine besides what I've been doing? On top of this I have nausea which I'm managing through eating (mostly crisps).

Any help, advice, experiences, or even hope for my future Grin would be great xx
