Hi, please help, sorry if this post is abit much but last nite me and a guy got abit carried away, we didn’t have penatrative sex but he did rub his penis against my vagina and a lot of foreplay (sorry to much information!) no condoms. I know it is still possible to get pregnant this way although the chances are lower. To be safe I have just taken the Levonorgestrel 1.5mg tablet morning after pill , will this prevent any possible pregnancy and what are the chances of the side effects happening? I had a miscarriage on the 10th Feb, I was in the hospital and they made sure everything was out. However, although we didn’t have penetrative sex is there any risk? Thanks

No penetrative sex + morning after pill = very, very low risk of pregnancy!

Morning after pill's efficacy is higher the sooner you take it after sex. I never really experienced many side effects from it in the past. Your mileage may vary.

I think it works by delaying ovulation. If you've just ovulated then it can't prevent pregnancy however this is probably very difficult to ascertain since you've had a recent MC and your cycle might be a bit irregular. Since you didn't actually have penetrative sex though I'd just push it to the back of your mind for now.
