Maternity 'mom' jeans

I'm a size 10-12 since being pregnant and am quite chunky in the leg with a flat bum so skinny jeans just aren't looking great on me.

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and am starting to need to wear maternity stuff but all I can seem to find is skinny jeans.

Can anyone recommend any maternity non-skinny 'mom' or 'boyfriend' style jeans?

Thanks Mumsnet! X

I'm living in an Asos over the bump boyfriend pair (can't link as exact pair is out of stock), and less so, Gap - more because they're under the bump so less comfy. H&M did nothing for me.

Dorothy Perkins have some boyfriend style jeans. They come up quite big so I haven't started wearing mine yet but they're perfectly fine.

Oh fab thanks @burritofan, will give both a go.

Thanks @mynameiscalypso, will give them a try. That's what I've been finding too with the ones I've tried on - it's that annoying stage of none of my normal clothes fitting but maternity jeans being too big!

Also, for anyone else looking have just checked out Topshop and they have a massive range of maternity jeans... I wouldn't normally buy jeans there as they're not cut for my shape and are too slim in the thigh but think I'll give the maternity ones a go... 🤞🏻

I've just bought some Gap over-bump girlfriend jeans - super comfy and fit my ample thighs. You might need to size down - I'm between sizes and bought the smaller size.

I had some boyfriend jeans from Topshop when I was pregnant and I loved them. Was so gutted when I couldn't wear them any more! Would definitely recommend trying some on there.

I think the problem is that skinny jeans are in right now. I’ve recently bought some straight leg ones off eBay...

I have boyfriend jeans from serephine. Not the cheapest, but I got with a discount so cost about £50. I LIVE in them. So price per wear good! (I didn’t like H&M mat jeans)

ASOS have got some awesome maternity jeans in different shapes. They've got some balloon boyfriend jeans that I'm putting away ready to pop!
They've also got some convertible trousers that grow with you and you can still wear after you've given birth.

H&M have a pair but I can confirm they are not very good if you don’t have skinny legs. On me they were too tight to be ‘boyfriend/mom style’ but too loose to be skinny. Fail!

Thanks everyone! That's given me a few places to try. I'm sure there's a gap in the market for a shop that had different concessions of maternity wear! I live in a city with good shops but it's so hit and miss as to how much they have in store and I'm sick of online shopping and sending stuff back...
Fingers crossed topshop and gap sort me out! X
