I know everyone is different and heals differently (physically and emotionally), but interested to hear how long you took off?

My usual style with things is to plough on and keep going.

Found out on Tuesday at a scan at the Early Pregnancy Unit that I was to miscarry and bleeding started last night.

Am off work this week anyway to cover childcare. But come Monday...

Everyone is different.

I was back at work the day after my D&C - probably not advised and I wasn't myself.

I didn't take any other time off, although am lucky to be able to work from home a couple of days a week which helped. My work is fairly full on and needed that to take my mind off things.

We also booked a holiday for the earliest possible time afterwards - that helped - the two of us could go and have fun and talk about things a bit but in a different location.

Do what you need to do to look after yourself - whatever works for you is the right thing to do.

ThanksThanksThanks

Everyone is different in ended up with 6 weeks off.
My body took it as a trauma and I became rather poorly.
I didn’t know it could happen. If you are feeling ok,then I would probably go back

I had a MMC that was picked up at 8.5 week scam from an IVF pregnancy, I was booked in for surgical management on the Friday and went back to work Monday as I wanted to keep busy

I went in yesterday and was ok but the cramps today were unreal - had to come home. They're refurbishing the toilets on our floor at the mo... talk about timing!
