😢 8 weeks. I don’t feel like I am anymore. Not one bit of nausea or food aversion in site just hunger. Mmc last year and even with that pregnancy I experienced mild nausea. I feel too good to be pregnant. I’m gunna have to do what I didn’t want to do & book early scan 😫 can anyone relate? X

Hey, I'm currently 7+3 and have no symptoms other than sore boobs and fatigue and last Thursday due to spotting I got to see my tiny baby with a heartbeat. I was so worried no symptoms meant the worst, however not everyone has them. We read so much that we expect we need to have some otherwise it can't be true.

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. However if you feel having a early scan will make you feel better then go for it there is no harm in it. I still wonder now if I am actually pregnant and I LITERALLY know I am! You are not alone x

Megan2018 · 14/02/2019 13:36

I have had very few symptoms (look at my posts on the antenatal board Sept 19 threads).
My sickness kicked in about a week ago at 8+3, now 9+4. But still very mild. Occasional vomit when tooth brushing, tired in the eves, slightly sore boobs. No food aversion or particularly hungry.
I am still expecting bad news at scan, feel much more ok than everyone else it seems. And I’m bloody old to boot (nearly 41) so according to some on mumsnet I should be thinking about sheltered housing so an easy pregnancy seems unlikely!

But symptoms don’t mean much, some people have loads and others have none. None of it indicates miscarriage. We just have to suck it up until 12wks.

My first pg was a mmc. With that and my second pg I had a lot of nausea. With my next pg I had none. No symptoms at all really. Maybe as first was a boy and second a girl?
Really hoping that you continue to feel good and that all goes well with the pg.

tessiegirl · 14/02/2019 13:38

Can absolutely remember feeling the same!! I had no symptoms at all at your stage but all was fine with dd. I still only ever felt little bit sicky in the evenings which kicked in around 10 weeks but nothing else.

BlueChampagne · 14/02/2019 13:50

No symptoms at all with either of my DSs! And Megan2018 I was 40 when I had DS2.

curlywurlywooo · 14/02/2019 13:53

Hi @Babycakes1989. I am now 16+2 and I never had nausea. Felt tired early in on first trimester, had sore boobs ever since missed period. Towards the end of the first trimester I developed acne on chest and back. I had some bleeding early on and felt much better after my 12 week scan! No symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve lost your baby - there’s a few of us on the August thread with little / no symptoms. Flowers

curlywurlywooo · 14/02/2019 13:55

Also no aversions or cravings! Until the last few weeks where I’ve developed cravings for fruit 🍍

justasking111 · 14/02/2019 13:55

My nausea vomiting kicked in at nearly 10 weeks every time, so do not count your chickens just yet OP

Bigonesmallone3 · 14/02/2019 13:58

I know it must be unnerving but I can't help thinking lucky you!!

That is some people's normal..

If you need to see they baby in there I'd recommend an early scan, with this baby I had one at 8 weeks..
I'm 22 weeks now and not long felt human

Babycakes1989 · 14/02/2019 13:59

Thank you all so much I really appreciate 😢❤️ I really am suffering quite badly with anxiety at the moment. I massively appreciate your time to comment and support and it’s great to hear positive stories xx

I have been pregnant 7 times, 3 babies and 4 mc.

I have had strong symptoms at this stage and no symptoms and everything in between,

The one thing I CAN say is that there was no corrolation between symptoms and whether the baby is viable or not.

Many many people have no symptoms in the first trimester, please don't worry.

MonkeyToucher · 14/02/2019 14:25

I had no symptoms at all at the 8 week mark with my second pregnancy. Didn’t even find out I was pregnant until past 8 weeks. Everyone is different and I think for a lot of people the “symptoms” they experience really early on are probably in their head...

boodles101 · 14/02/2019 14:42

9 weeks and no symptoms here either other than hunger. I did throw up once but it came out of nowhere and I felt fine before/after.
I was exactly the same when pregnant with DS and he's now 2, so I know I'm extremely lucky and it's normal for me not to have symptoms. But I completely agree that it still doesn't reassure you that things are ok. I have toyed with the idea of booking an early scan but I'm just going to wait now. Nothing's happened to say that I'm not pregnant any more so I'm just counting down the days til my 12 week scan.

Babycakes1989 · 14/02/2019 15:20

Thank you 😘 I think I’m gunna try and sit out a further week. I’m not really a sicky person in general anyway - so hoping it’s just that! Xx

I didn't have any sickness/nausea at all with either of my pregnancies. Aversions/cravings kicked in about 10 weeks.
You'll be chuckling to yourself about this in a couple of months when you're eating 3 choc brownies a day & gagging at the sight of vegetables! Good luckThanks

Babycakes1989 · 14/02/2019 19:46

😂I really really hope so thank you 😘 xx

I had a similar worry, my symptoms (tiredness, some nausea, sore boobs) have been fairly slight. Sore boobs seemed to disappear around week eight and my little bit of nausea lessened too. Today I have felt sick for most of the day and I fell asleep this afternoon so am feeling a bit relieved! Maybe your symptoms are on their way too, or perhaps you're just one of those lucky ladies who will have an easy pregnancy. There are many women who have had no symptoms and healthy babies, it's hard but try not to worry too much.

HoHoHolyCow · 14/02/2019 20:28

I have two DC and never had pregnancy symptoms with either other than missed periods (and then a bump!) No sickness, soreness, cravings, anything. I just felt the same as always.

littleleeleanne · 14/02/2019 20:43

I was really nauseous in the early stages, couldn't eat anything I normally could and just generally couldn't function like a normal person. 10 week mark approached and everything stopped, I went back to eating how I use too and just being 'me' again. My little boy is now nearly 18 months. Try not to worry Thanks

Fivefootoffun · 14/02/2019 20:47

Please don’t worry. I’m 14 weeks with my second and no symptoms at all. Was exact same with my DD.

Hopefully once you get your scan you can relax and actually enjoy a lovely pregnancy where your feeling so well. Take care x

Wedgiecar58 · 14/02/2019 21:10

I’ve had barely any symptoms either, just the sore boobs, tiredness and a teeny bit of nausea, only in the mornings and went away as soon as I ate something.

I had a private scan at 8 weeks and all was fine.

I am now 10 weeks and the little symptoms I did have, have now all but disappeared. Not jist that my energy is back, I’m able to exercise again!

It’s making me worried too, OP. But we just have to stay positive, perhaps we are just the lucky ones in terms of symptoms.

Hope everything goes well for you xx

MeOldChina · 14/02/2019 21:11

I never had any symptoms for my whole pregnancy. The bump became something of a giveaway after a while, but other than that I felt perfectly normal.

JE87 · 14/02/2019 21:46

I felt exactly the same at 8 weeks to the point I got myself in a right state thinking the worst! I booked an early scan and best money I've spent it put my mind at rest and the following week came the symptoms! Definitely don't worry but do book the scan if it will help reassure you Smile

Babycakes1989 · 24/02/2019 15:18

Hey ladies. Just wanted to let you all know I had an early scan yesterday at 9 weeks and seen a lovely flickering heartbeat and little hand movement - I broke down in tears with relief especially after last time ❤️ Typically last few days extreme fatigue has set in, headaches and mild nausea. Thanks for helping me xx

@Babycakes1989 wonderful news and congrats Smile although the lack of symptoms is a worry, we have to be grateful as I know a lot of ladies suffer terribly with nausea etc Smile so pleased for you and you can look forward to your 12 week scan now! 💖
