I am 6 weeks 4 days today and have had 2 miscarriages in the past. CBD tests and lines increased as they should but I’ve just been to the toilet and think this discharge is pink tinged. Any explanations or success stories please. I’m so worried

I've had this twice around 11 weeks, both times after I'd been quite active. All fine though and probably just some mild cervix irritation. Wishing you all the best.

queenqueenqueen · 13/02/2019 22:42

Oh no, really hope everything is ok for you xx

As another poster said, DTD can trigger spotting.

I had similar to you and I have a chorionic bump, still not really sure what it is - increases miscarriage risk.

Do you have an Early Pregnancy Unit at your hospital?

curlywurlywooo · 14/02/2019 17:07

I had the same at 7 weeks and 9 weeks and mine went much darker than that (Dark brown) am now 16 weeks. First time I noticed it was after DTD (so DH put a ban on sex until after scan) and 9 weeks was after doing some light lifting!

queenqueenqueen · 14/02/2019 17:46

Any news today op?

Gobletoffire · 14/02/2019 19:21

I had this at 8 weeks along with some brown spotting, but my discharge looked like that for a couple of days. I had it again around 24 weeks. I’m now 35 weeks and everything is fine. My fingers are crossed for you x

Hey OP,

I had this at 7 weeks. Pinky tinge Only when I wiped, for a wee hours one evening. I put on a pad to try to monitor if there was a lot, if any blood and spent the night crying, thinking it was the start of a miscarriage. Thankfully, it only lasted a few hours and everything was fine.

TTCVickster · 15/02/2019 06:53

There was literally only one wipe of pink, I put a pad on overnight and nothing and then nothing all day yesterday so thinking it may have been overexertion. Trying to stay positive now until our private scan Monday! X

Any update op?

TTCVickster · 18/02/2019 19:57

Had my scan and there is a heartbeat. Everything looks good l, just a few days earlier than LMP suggests which is fine. Thanks for all your reassurance everyone xx

Brilliant news, @TTCVickster!

Becca2000 · 19/02/2019 03:03

Hi everyone, I had just turned 17 when I miscarried. I hadn't done a test because I was too scared, because I believe deep down I knew that I was. However with being so young I was scared to truly know.

I started bleeding like a normal period, I can't remember any spotting or previous bleeding to this. A couple days later I got really bad cramping in my lower stomach. It was so bad I had to cancel plans. So I filled the bath and got in, in order to try and sooth the pain. But the pain got 10x worse. I had very heavy bleeding by this point and multiple clots come out while I was in the bath (sorry tmi) and the pain was very servere in my lower back and hips.

I got out the bath because the pain had gotten so bad, so i sat on my bedroom floor and having a panic attack because I didn't know what was happening. A few seconds or minutes later I passed a big clot about the length of my thumb sadly with very noticable features. Immediately but slowly the pain started to decrease.

I need help because I feel like I could have prevented this if I had of just took a test. I also feel like I was further along then the blood tests show, just by the size and pain. I've tried to do some research but haven't really found much out. I was just hoping for some feedback and what you guys think. Thank you so much

@becca2000 you will get help if you start your own thread, commenting on an existing one won’t flag your need

Becca2000 · 19/02/2019 03:12

I've tried but everyone I try to add it, it tells me to re log in. Which I do but then it keeps saying the same thing.

Glitterandunicorns · 19/02/2019 06:54

@Becca2000 I'm so very sorry for your loss. That sounds traumatic. I would recommend speaking to your GP to see if they can refer you to a counsellor. You may also find some support on the Miscarriage Association website.
Agree that if you can make your own thread, you're more likely to get advice.

newbabyyy2019 · 19/02/2019 07:14

So glad everything's okay! I've had this tinged discharge aswell but I've had some random (tiny) bits of brown aswell but I noticed it the day after DTD and it continued for about 3-4 days so hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Becca2000 · 19/02/2019 15:45

@Glitterandunicorns thank you so much!

Hi! I’m 6 weeks pregnant with my first. Over the last few days I have found when I wipe after using the toilet there is some pink discharge. Obviously this has caused me to feel quite alarmed. I called my early pregnancy unit and they said that I needed to wait to see if the blood could fill 2 pads. But it never leaks onto me and is only when I wipe. Any advice?

Smurphy1990 · 19/02/2021 19:49

Hey, I have this too, I also have had a neg preg test and I'm over a week late and normally extremely regular, so no idea what's going on, wishing you all the best x

Taytay2421 · 06/06/2021 15:00

I have this orange pinkish discharge this isn’t the first time but I still wonder on wtf it is lol. It goes away on its own. But it’s just weird to me

Orange discharge could be an sign of a uti infection - I had that with my first pregnancy. I'd call your gp.
