5 day's missed pill

Hi all, im on cerazette and have been for around 5 year's. I've forgotten to take my pill for at least 5 day's last week from Monday. I was sexually active most of the week and when i remebered to take it this Sunday just gone I'd been active Sunday more than once. Could there be a chance i could have gotten pregnant?

Well yes, missing just 1 means you could get pregnant

How soon do you take a test? I've never missed any before so this is all new to me

You need to wait to take the test 14 days from the last time you had sex. If you’re not and have dodged this bullet, may I suggest a reminder on your phone?

Thank-you, i will definitely be putting a alarm reminder on . It wouldn't bother me as I'm 30 and my partner wouldn't mind either. I've just no clue what i had to do as I've never had a scare before.

Does your partner know you’re meant to be on the pill but not actually taking it and still having sex?

If so and you’re both happy for you to get pregnant then stop bothering with your pill. But if not then you need to take it every day.

And of course you might be pregnant. Two fertile people having unprotected sex always means you might get pregnant.

Btw a “scare” is taking the pill then getting a tummy bug and being sick, and when that happens you take the MAP if you don’t want to be pregnant.

There a very high chance you can get pregnant. Not so much a problem if you are wanting to be pregnant but 5 days is a lot to forget to take the pill.
Maybe you should consider another form of birth control if you aren't actively trying such as injection or implant where you don't have to remember it.

I haven't done this intentional, i had a very stressful week with personal things! I only wanted abit of advice from other people. Yes my partner does know I'm on the pill and he also knows I've missed 5 day's which to his reply was don't stress anymore than i have been.
