35 weeks with poorly toddler. No sleep!!!

Just need to vent. 35 weeks tomorrow. Been up all night the last 2 nights with my 3 year old, full of cold and very needy and clingy. Had yesterday off work but feel like I need to go in today. I’m just so tired. I can’t move. Someone give me some inspiration or motivation! Or some advice on getting a toddler full of cold to sleep!!!!!

You have my sympathies, that really sucks. Can your partner get up in the night at all? Just to give you a night off? My 2 year old DS has had a cold recently and I'm 30 weeks and its draining but I have been making DH get up (because I'm mean and knackered!), though I do get up if DH is working and I'm not (I work part time, DH works full time).
Other than that, I put one of those calpol plug in's on every night DS is ill as I think it helps (no idea if it actually does!). I also put a load of olbas oil on a muslin and put it over his pillow in the hope that it helps.
Hopefully it won't stick around much longer!

You’re similar to me, i work 3 days. So Sunday night when he was bad I did all the work. He helped me out last night though. It’s hard because I try and just do everything but it’s hard when you’re this big and Nackered!!! Olbas oil is a good idea! I’d been plastering him in snufflebabe. Hope he’s over the worse but he’s feeling very sorry for himself today x

I'm 27 weeks and on night 3 of the cold here with DS (2.7), you have my sympathy! My DH is really good but he's working full time and knackered too. I do 3 days but find the days at home are at least as hard as the days I go to work so doesn't feel like a break!

I've come down with the blasted cold now so I'm off work today. Hoping a rest day does the trick! Fingers crossed your DS is over the worst and on the mend soon.

The days at home are just as hard now! He’s started nursery so at least that gives me a couple hours to get stuff done without entertaining him! X
