Ketones in urine?

Hi everyone,
I had my urine tested yesterday and the midwife said I had ketones in my urine. I'm 25 weeks and she just said are you eating and drinking enough to which I said yes. I do feel dehydrated quite a lot recently so have upped my water intake. She then didn't say anything else but I've been googling and pages relating to gestational diabetes are coming up? She didn't seem concerned about it so I suppose I shouldn't be but has anyone had it and if so, what was the cause? TIA

Can usually just mean you're dehydrated, just make sure you're drinking plenty and if it comes up again they will probably do further checks x

That's the thing though, before going in I'd had a two bottles of water and a green tea in the last hour or so.

I had ketones a few times, obviously I googled after the first time and got myself fairly worried about it, but yeah in isolation it's nothing to worry about and is probably down to what you'd eaten and drunk.
