I have a stupid question really and I should know as it's my second pregnancy (why do you forget what happened first time round??)

Why don't I feel pregnant? I'm only very early (17dpo so just over 4 weeks) and my boobs feel a bit hard and slightly sore but nothing else at all. I've had a bit of cramping, nothing "painful" just on and off mild stuff, but it means I feel like I'm constantly waiting for it to be over. I want to feel something to make it actually seem real.
I'm not sure I remember it being like this 6 years ago when I had my first.
I hate this part with a passion!! Can I fast forward a few weeks?

In the first trimester I started to feel pregnant around 7/8 weeks. I had a private early scan to put our minds at ease a little, and this was around the time I started feeling really nauseas. I'm now nearly 18 weeks, sickness has largely gone, and I don't feel pregnant at all again. It's a tough slog but you have to persevere. When you have your first scan it'll feel more real - for a while at least.

I think I remember weeing a lot early on last time, but not sure if that is because I subconsciously started to drink more water. I've said to dh about an early scan as we had one around 8 or 9 weeks last time because I had a bit of spotting and totally freaked. We've said we'll do it again this time. I had a bit of nausea last time but can't remember when it started. This bit takes so bloody long.
