I'm not one for 'bothering' people and have a very small but annoying problem- it's woken me uo tonight so I need to do something but I need help deciding where to go.

I have recently started itching like mad on my back and sides (I'm 19 weeks). At the exact same time two things have changed 1) I have had to go off work with stress- won't go into detail as could be outing and 2) our shower has died so I've had to start having baths, which I hate. I've got some hypoallergenic sanex to try from tomorrow to see if it's just that causing it. I've also put Aveeno it tonight to see if that helps.

Obviously it's not a big deal though I have choleostasis in the back of my mind. Is it a see if it calms down, GP, or chat with midwife job? My GP does phone appointments then calls you in if they want a further look. I have made my skin sore and it's woken me up so it's more than a bit of an itch but ultimately it is only annoying rather than urgent and I'm aware if that's all I've got to worry about I'm pretty lucky!

What would you do?

Ring your midwife, it’s what they’re there for!

Ring midwife in the first instance.
