How long do I wait for the midwife?

Meant to have a midwife appointment today but the letter literally said 'after 12'. It's a home appointment but I don't know how long I should expect to wait? I feel like I'm wasting the day, there's loads of stuff I need to do but don't want to start in case that's when she knocks and I can't do hoovering etc because I won't hear her. I can't even call her because I only have her office number and she's out doing home visits today.

Out of interest what time did she show up? I have never heard of them being after a certain time! I am community midwife led and have appointments at home. But they are timed appointments like they would be in a hospital. I wouldn't have waited much after 3pm, how awful!

Still waiting

Joking Grin

About 2:40 she turned up. I vaguely remember last pregnancy one didn't turn up until after 5:30! It literally said 'after midday' on the letter.
