Bloody mucus at 32w?

I'm currently 32w pregnant with my second baby. I just went to the toilet and there was a tiny bit of bloody mucus in my underwear & when I wiped. Is this something I should be concerned about? Never had it with my first. Also had sex last night so could that have anything to do the with it?

Sounds like a bit of your mucus plug coming away. Could be the start of labor, could be because of the sex!
I wouldn't worry but if you're concerned give your midwife a call.

I had a bit of bloody mucus when I was about 35 weeks and also worried I might go into labour but my little girl was born at 39+4 so it made no difference at all. I didn’t get it checked out as it was literally one time but if you are in any doubt or are concerned then always better to be checked than risk it

Best get checked out just for peace of mind. With my first I had similar around 32weeks, midwife said it was probably my mucus plug. It also happened again at 37 weeks but DS wasn’t born until the day after his due date 🙂
