Hi,
My last pregnancy date was 21/11 I found out I am pregnent on 29/12. I have used Clearblue digital and showed 1-2 weeks. I have irregular cycle of 35-39 days. On the same day went to hospital. They got negative urine test result and took blood to check HCG level. I got a call next day and said hcg is 25 and asked for another test next day 31/12. Result came out as 50. Another blood test done on 07/01 and HCG 408. I had an ectopic pregnancy before and I was really worried. So they told me to go for a scan next day. On the scan I have seen a dark spot and that could be Gestational sac!!! Nurse was not sure. Then we sopke to a lovey doctor. He assured it is our baby and it is fine. This time is is not an ectopic. He said this is too early that why HCG level is low and we miscalculated the age of pregnancy.

He asked for another blood test on 09/01 and another scan on 15/01. On the blood test HCG went upto 585. Nurse who called me was really worried and said this could be a sign of Miscarriages. And it does not look good eventhough they have seen the sac in the scan and do not need to do anymore blood test. I am seeing now light to dark brown discharge when I wipe with tissue.

Just waiting for next scan. Really upset and worried. not sure what to expect.

Hello Son I didn't want to read and run. I've had this twice. Once it was a miscarriage, they could see a gestational sac but my hcg wasn't rising as it should. I decided to wait it out and miscarried naturally about 3 weeks after the brown discharge started.
I am currently pregnant at the moment and had some spotting and a small bleed at about 6 weeks. However, it stopped suddenly and everything has been okay since. I'm hoping it stays that way.

You can insist that they take your bloods, they did the same thing with me the first time and stopped measuring my hcg. This time I asked for them to keeping measuring it until they could definitely see enough progression in the pregnancy.

It could go either way, it might just be very early Flowers

Hoping you are okay, I know what a worrying time this is for you x

Hi Ilovemypyjamas,
Thanks for that. I going for a scan tomorrow. Really worried.
Last few days, I only saw brown blood when I urinate. Then I started to wear pads. every time I change I see some blood marks.

Really not sure. Will find out tomorrow.

Thanks

@Sonof19 Very best of luck with your scan, it’s almost impossible to say without the scan and HCG level results together as it can really go either way. But FX for a positive result for you tomorrow, I know just how worrying it can be. But remember, brown spotting can be completely harmless and as you say, they maybe can only see a sac as you are so early on Flowers

Hi,
I had my scan. Last time on 08/01 size of the sac was 2.8mm and on 15/01 it is a bit bigger 4mm. no yolk sac. after the scan I am seeing red blood when I wipe. Yesterday evening, When I wiped I saw something which was not usual. Thick blood clot. I am really not sure what it is. Is is my?????? Can not think strait. Went to GP, they could not see any urine infection. Last few-days i had lower back pain and some strange feeling on my abdominal. from today morning back pain gone.

I dont know what is going on. I have to go for a blood test on 22/01 and scan on 29/01.
