Hypnobirthing

Has anyone tried hypnobirthing? If so how was it?
The pregnancy and birth of my first child was so awful and 5 years on I'm still so upset about it. So far i havent thought about labour in 20 weeks time, I'm blocking out the thought of it, but now thinking that hypnobirthing might make me more positive.

I've done a taught course but tbh don't think it gave me anything more than reading books or the positive birth company online one would have done, and it's far cheaper. The woman who taught my course wasn't great, but I imagine it may be a better experience obviously with someone different.
