Pregnancy Anxiety

I've just found out I'm roughly 6 weeks pregnant.

Since finding out I'm so conscious and worried about doing something that might hurt or affect the baby. Every twinge has me googling, every sneeze has me checking and everything I eat and drink I'm super anxious!

Is this normal? Will my anxiety cause any harm to the baby or myself? How do I get past this? Am I over thinking this are our bodies stronger than I'm giving them credit for...

HELP!

I felt this way too and probably still do to an extent, currently 24+3.

There's nothing you can do to prevent anything bad happening but everything is going well so far.

Try to enjoy the fact that you are having a successful pregnancy and that more than likely you and baby will be just fine. I had a scan at 11 weeks and that helped reassure me because you can see the heartbeat and the baby moving. In hindsight I should have gone around 8-9 weeks and that would have helped me relax sooner. Your risk of having a miscarriage after seeing the heartbeat is very low.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
