I’m 28 weeks pregnant and recently gotten PGP and sciatica and can barely walk. I’m feeling miserable and my poor hubby is having to do everything. I feel like such a burden.

Is there anything you guys can suggest that I can help out round the house to help make it a bit easier on him. He hasn’t moaned once about but I feel awful, normally we 50/50 everything but it’s a struggle just get from my bed to the couch at the minute.

You're pregnant, not lazy. Don't feel guilty.

Wouldn't you do more than 50% of the housework if it was the other way round and your OH had an illness or something which meant he couldn't do his share?

I would I just feel terrible for not doing anything, he’s working full time, doing everything with our 2 year old and looking after all the household chores. If it was the other way round I’d do the same but I just want to help in some little way.

Have you had a physio referral. I had one with my PGP and the exercises and lessons in what to do/not do have made a huge difference to my levels of discomfort. You really need to protect yourself so you don’t end up really struggling later on- don’t feel guilty about not doing as much. This is the exact time you need to be resting where you can.

The midwife sent through a referral for me but she said it was anything from 4-12 weeks waiting list Confused hoping it’s 4 rather than the latter or the baby will be here Grin
