Where do get maternity swimwear??

Has anyone ever bought maternity swimwear and can recommend where to purchase this from?? I’m 33 weeks pregnant so preferably a swimming costume as the stretch marks are coming on lovely and I’m not confident showing these off at the moment!

Thanks!

I got mine from Tesco and still wearing it a year after childbirth! Very comfy and flattering.

I bought an el cheapo tankini from sainsbury's in a size up and it did me throughout my twin pregnancy.

Asda also do some nice ones online. They have a draw string around the leg that can be loosened as your tummy grows. I found the next size up from my usual size fitted best

Following this. Only 16 weeks so far but there are some truly hideous options out there

Cakeandslippers · 26/12/2018 21:00

Jojo Maman do some nice ones. I swim a lot and so I got a tankini and a one piece and they've both worn well and been comfortable. The one piece is more practical as I found the tankini slipped up a few times as I swam.

I got my maternity swimsuit from Asda. It was £8 in the sale I think and very comfortable x

mumofmunchkin · 26/12/2018 21:03

I got a lovely swimming costume from jojomamanbebe.

sirmione16 · 26/12/2018 21:05

Picked mine up new from a mum/baby used sale for 50p. WIN Grin I refuse to buy maternity wear new as not long term lol

DannyWallace · 26/12/2018 21:12

I got a lovely tankini from mothercare. Looks like a swimsuit when on and very reasonable price (and soooo flattering!!!)

le42 · 26/12/2018 21:12

I got mine from ASOS - really cute

TheSubtleKnifeAndFork · 26/12/2018 21:17

I got one from ASOS in the sale, I think it was by "Mamalicious" cheap (less than a tenner) and actually lovely quality.

zucchinieggplant · 26/12/2018 21:34

I had a nice speedo one that I found on Amazon.

FrowningFlamingo · 26/12/2018 22:37

Mine are from Jojo, they always have an offer on them. They don't have much boob space though!

Anyat212 · 26/12/2018 23:29

I’ve got one from Boohoo (just wanted something nice and cheap) but it’s actually better quality than I thought - worth a look :)

magpie24 · 27/12/2018 00:48

Got a tankini from ASOS (link below). Should be suitable for postnatal wear too although DD is currently 5 weeks so we have not made it to the pool yet!

Next have some in their sale.

8DaysAWeek · 27/12/2018 12:31

I got a plain black tankini from Mothercare. The top is long so covers everything. Very comfy :)

Another one with a JoJo tankini here. I really like it and it looks like a swimming costume rather than a two piece.

blitzen · 27/12/2018 14:16

I recently got a nice maternity swimsuit from an online company called swim babes. Think the brand name is togg or tagg....

blitzen · 28/12/2018 11:08

Zoggs even 😆

nic01234 · 28/12/2018 11:27

Following this thread because I also need to buy a swimsuit in the next couple of weeks.

Problem is, I've got big boobs which are now HUGE (G cup) and from what I've seen most maternity swimwear doesn't really cater for that. I'm a size 10-12. Any ideas or suggestions welcome! Thanks x

I got most of my maternity stuff from asda.

Darkstar4855 · 28/12/2018 22:16

I had two Jojo tankinis (the ones that looked like one piece swimming costumes). They fit comfortably right up until the end of my pregnancy and I also wore the top half of one in the birthing pool!
