Anyone else has issues?

Whilst it seems a great idea we've had such issues.

They state that one bought the items are put into storage until you're ready for delivery....

2 months ago were were bought items and we put them for delivery today.

Last night we get a email to say only 2/8 items are coming.

These 2 are a jumper and some hats.

On the list were the crib and vital items for before our baby is here.

NIGHTMARE

When we call they said they have them in stock in our local store but we'd have to get a refund on the items which they said was 'instant' then to reorder for click and collect.

24 hours later and no refund....

3 days before Xmas parking in the city and carrying the crib and everything to the car park far away when 81/2 months pregnant 😡

Fuming!

They just don't seem to care either and keep responding that they 'pride them self in good customer service.' What a joke!!!

And just like that I’ll be buying from amazon. It’s bloody crap for you, have you tried tweeting them? It seems companies only play nicely when you publically shame them into it.

I feel for you!! That sounds really tough.

We haven't actually ordered anything from our list yet but it was a nightmare getting the password to see said list. The actual appointment was really good and the lady said we'd be able to access it within 24 hours & they'd email us. To cut to the chase they didn't and it took a week of tweeting & calling them (omg how long do you have to wait on hold just to be told you have the wrong number despite the fact you're following instructions from their website?!) just to be able to access it. I thought I'd at least get a voucher or something to compensate as it took hours and hours (way longer than the actual appointment) but I didn't.

In general we've had positive experiences over the years with JL and have the credit card, thousands of pounds of vouchers (husband gets them through work) and I thought their expectant parents event was also really good (lots of good quality freebies, haha) but the nursery list experience hadn't been up to par and we are yet to buy anything from it.

Once baby is here you could make a formal complaint?

JL have contracted out their Customer Service and now it’s just awful. Departments not communicating with each other.
Look on Trustpilot.
I used to love JL but will no longer buy anything I can’t actually see in the shop and walk away with.

Defo make a complaint if you’ve got the energy I’d be fumeing too

Thanks all, I'm the same the actual nursery list setting up and chat were lovely.

Communication is appalling!

Still no refund put through and I'm sure it'll be here way after new year.

Each member of staff on the phone says something different. Communication is terrible.

I've put in a complaint at head office and they've forwarded it to the gift list department who I've made the complaint about to deal with.... that doesn't work!!

So frustrating.

Going to look at trust pilot now.

Merry Christmas all xx
