Spotting / Bleeding at 6weeks/5days

Hello Mumsnet!

This is my first ever post and also my first pregnancy.

I am 6 weeks and 5 days, yesterday I noticed a small amount of pink blood on the tissue after going for a wee. Last night again there was a small amount of brown blood. This morning there was a little more red blood. It was only enough to go on the tissue, i.e. it wasnt in my underwear.

I havent had any pains but more of a warm feeling in my stomach.

Is this normal? Ive done some reading on spotting versus bleeding but wondered at what point I should go to my doctors / A&E.

Hi op - I am currently 5w6 and also had some pink spotting yesterday, worried as hell as I just had a miscarriage a few months ago, however there’s nothing to be done this early.

My GPs advice last time was if the spotting is accompanied by pain or if it turns into bleeding contact your epu for an early scan. Good luck

Unfortunately it has gotten worse since my OP. I am on route to GP now.

Bleeding in early pregnancy is quite common so fingers crossed it’s nothing xx

Unfortunately the doctor believes it's early sign of miscarriage as bleeding has got heavier and now signs of small clots (pin head size). Had bloods taken but won't know more until results on Monday. Apparently too early for a scan at 6weeks and 5 days?
