Has anyone experienced this? What is it?

I’ve had period like pain this this morning that’s getting worse all day.

Also experiencing stretching pain next to both pubic bones.

What in the feck is this? I tried dr google but just freaked myself out 😂 don’t really want to waste the Midwife’s time unless it’s actually serious

My contractions started with period like pains at 32 weeks. Go get yourself checked out

go get checked. but dont panic, could be braxton hicks xx

You won't be wasting their time. Call the maternity unit and speak to someone. It's always better to be safe.

Another vote for getting checked out. I ignored the pain I had in the morning - put it down to period pain. Went and got checked out at the hospital in the afternoon and had my little girl that evening - 32 weeks. So I would always now encourage anyone to get checked out if you notice any unusual pain. Please note I'm sure everything is absolutely fine - just peace of mind to get checked out xx

Put it down to trapped wind - not period pain! Sorry x

Thanks all!

I had a bath which has helped so the period type pain has gone.

Pains moved up my back so I presume it’s just ligaments or something

I am 30 weeks and had this Friday night. It didn't last very long but just felt like a bad period pain. It passed and I haven't had anything since so assume it was a Braxton Hick but would get checked out if it continued.
