I'm booked in to 2 x 2 hour antenatal classes and just wondering what to expect.

Is it like you see in films where they get you practising breathing on cushions on the floor or more of a classroom thing?

Mine were classroom type things, mostly they spoke to us as a group then there were Some smaller group tasks
Only practical things were being shown how to wash a doll and ways to hold a doll to breastfeed
These were NHS ones

It wasn't like the films! They specifically said they weren't going to tell us how to breathe!
First hour was signs of early labour, and how to handle the pain at home. Second class was full on labour and childbirth, and being shown a doll coming out of a pelvis. Third hour was pain relief, intervention, and what happens if the baby's early or late. Forth hour was what to expect once the baby's home, like health visitors, recovery from childbirth etc.
They were really useful.
