had VBAC now pregnant again (though big gap!)

I had DS by Emergency C-Section but went on to have DD naturally and hence achieved my dream of a VBAC....

....I am now pregnant again 10 years later!!!

And being referred for consultant appointment, and not allowed to use birth centre at hospital which I am really gutted about. Then also talk of early induction due to my age (over 40!).

I am starting to get worried about the NHS machine and chances of a natural birth.

Looking for reassurance and any advice on how to get into a birth centre.

I was just shy of my 42nd bday when I had dd3 in Feb, I was told I would be induced because of my age and it would be in hospital no chance of the mlu. As it turned out it all went to hell in a hand basket and I ended up with an emcs, but it’s the stillbirth rate in the over 40s they’re concerned about and tbh I wasn’t that fussed how she came out!
