Bruise on foot

Bit random but, I have a bruise on my foot. It's where my toes meet my foot. It's large and dark. It's a bit of foot where I'd know if I'd hit it as it's bloody hurt (boney and sensitive). But I honestly have no idea how I did it. It just randomly started hurting as I was walking.

Pregnancy couldn't have caused it could it?

I had an enormous unexplained bruise on my foot a few months after my baby was born. Feet aren't very fleshy so it was very confusing for me as I assumed I would have to do something very painful to get a bruise like that.

If you want, you could show the doctor and have a blood test to see if there's anything funny going on.

I decided to wait and see if it happened again (it didn't). But since you're pregnant it might be best to check what the doctor thinks.

Could your feet have swollen slightly due to pregnancy (have you been on your feet a lot?) and maybe your shoes were too tight?
