Hey mumsnet

I’m 28 weeks pregnant and just fell down about 10 stairs inside the house all on my bum , I know al be sore in the morning , I didn’t hit my stomach at all and have felt the baby kick since I don’t want to bother the Midwife’s but I’m worried iv hurt the baby ?

Not sure what to do

It’s very unlikely you’ve hurt the baby but I would give your midwife a ring just to be on the safe side.

Definitely ring and let them know what happened. Are you rhesus negative blood type at all - as this may warrant extra checks just to be on the safe side.

If you are rhesus negative you might need anti d so I'd call

I did the same when pregnant. I had to go in for anti D as I'm rhesus negative but otherwise my consultant wasn't worried at all as I hadn't hit my stomach and the baby really is well protected in there. Don't sit at home worrying though, give your midwife a call and get checked out if it will reassure you.

Hi everyone thanks for the tips , waited a little while just to make sure baby still kicking away witch it is I called and they said I’m
Ok because I’m B+ but if start to bleed or get stomach pains to go straight in !, what a fright I got I tell you !!! Every part of my body bar my tummy is sore was some fall x
