How many nappies?

How many nappies do I need for a newborn? What sizes should I buy? How many should I buy in larger sizes? Would like tohave a few options sorted so we're not caught out in the middle of the night. Is own brand alright or better to spend more on Pampers? xx

For the meconium poo, best thing is to cover the baby's bum with vaseline until they've worked it out of their system and the poo has gone yellow. Makes it much easier to get off.

Always keep at least one packet of the next size up in the house so you can easily check if they are ready to move up a size.
