Am I close to labour?

I am 36+1. I went in to the labour ward on Sunday as I wasn't feeling well and didn't come out until Wednesday night. The reason for staying in was that my baby who had previously been head down for 5 weeks had turned to oblique lie, then in the next three days went from that, to bum down, back to head down, to bum down and back to head down! I'm booked in for a c section on 5th December due to the risk of him continuing to move. I've had an upset stomach (cramps and diarrhoea) for almost 48 days and have a constant dull really low backache that seems to be making its way round to my side. I did have some tightenings while I was in hospital but nothing regular. So much pressure down below and in my groin.

It's not particularly painful it's almost like a very mild stitch at the moment, I'll monitor to see if it gets worse. Thanks

Always worth a phonecall. If they are worried you pop in (might be worth having your bag in the car just in case). Good luck!
