Hypnobirthing stress!

Hello,

I've got myself all in a tizz today. I got a text saying my hospital appointment is on 10th November and assumed this was my consultant appointment (I'm under for mental health support) I miscalculated the date and thought it was today. Just spent £12 in wasted taxi fares, only to find out this text was for my hypnobirthing class which is tomorrow (Saturday) I'd thought the hypnobirthing was on Sunday. I've agreed for my parents to visit as they want to come up and buy us a car seat tomorrow (Saturday). They are travelling far and have booked a hotel. I am quite interested in a home birth although undecided and aware of not getting my hopes up (its first baby). Can anyone advise how valuable the hypnobirthing class will be? It was a free NHS one. I'm also booked on an Active Birth class in a few weeks and go to pregnancy yoga.

I would really recommend hypnotbirthing.
Not sure that one session would be enough though. Could you look at doing a course if you're interested?

Hypnobirthing can be brilliant, especially if you get anxious about things. I would look into a proper course if you can afford it, even an online one. I can't see an nhs one day session being good enough.

Look up the positive birthing company. It’s online and you do it at your own pace. Fingers crossed it helps me. I’m due on Tuesday. Good luck xx

I just bought a Maggie Howell CD and listened to it at home. Good luck!
